Green browser address bar displays company name and provides highly visual assurance to customers that your site is secure, giving them the confidence to complete their transaction.

Encryption

SSL encryption ensures the safety and privacy shared on the web. Most of our certs use either 256-bit encryption or 128-bit depending on the capabilities of computer and server. 256 and 128-bit are both industry standard for data protection. The number of biths of the encryption indicates the strength of the encryption that is used to send the data.

Wildcard

A wildcard SSL certificates allow SSL encryption on multiple sub-domains using a single certificate providing all domains are controlled by the same organisation and share the same second-level domain name.

For example, a Wildcard certificate issued to Company ABC using the Common Name ('*.CompanyABC.com') may be used to secure sub-domains like login.companyabc.com, payment.companyabc.com and support.companyabc.com.

Extended Validity

Extended Validity means that the identity of the owner has been thoroughly tested before the certificate has been issues. Extended Validation SSL certificates are considered to be the most trusted option available for Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates.

Reissues

Re-issue of the certificate for lifetime is available if you lose your private key of ssl certificate, your domain name has been migrated to another server etc.

Warranty

Warranty is the amount payable to website visitors if they experience losses resulting directly from an online transaction as a result of a mis-issued GeoTrust SSL certificate.
